Dang.. Mir was right, this lens is addictive! Great for focus shots (the lens doesn't autofocus with the D40 by the way, but no matter), and for portraits. The low aperture setting creates great depth of field effects and cool shots under low light conditions.
This has replaced my 18-55mm lens kit for the time being. :)

hahaha...so this "craze" for this lens got to you eh?! Mir..you referring to ramir or so? If so, My colleague TJ had sorta showed this to him back then too, and got to him....Of course, your still sane enough not to have gone for the faster f1.4. happy shooting.
..sane enough or just plain stingy. hehe
